Greetings to all RAGBRAI® attendees from 2013 Host City Council Bluffs!

I am delighted to welcome you to Council Bluffs, Iowa, for the beginning of the 41st RAGBRAI®. Our community was the starting city in 1974, 1986, 1994, 2000, and 2009 before this year. We are thrilled to once again play host to thousands of riders, support staff, charters, clubs and families.

We are planning to create another great start for you here. By the time you arrive, months of preparation for this event by dozens of executives, and thousands of hours by hundreds of devoted volunteers, will have occurred to make Council Bluffs a perfect spot to begin your RAGBRAI® adventure. We want you to feel safe and informed while in our city, and we want you to have a great time as you make new friends and catch up with old acquaintances. We have preserved the traditions and heritage that are the best of RAGBRAI® and are adding some new elements, too.
